Contra Costa Certified Farmers Markets were established in 1982, to provide farmers' markets in the communities of Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez and Orinda. We are a 501(c)4 not for profit organization.

Our mission of the Contra Costa Certified Farmer's Markets is to support the development of local sustainable farming by cultivating vibrant farmer's markets that serve as community gathering places celebrating local farmers, food producers and artisans. Organic and healthy, fresh produce is made more accessible to all residents while educational activities and events enhance and promote the quality of a green lifestyle and healthy food choices.
