Contra Costa Regional Medical Center Farmers Market 2012

The Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets Inc. are uniting efforts to educate and create access to locally-sourced, healthy food at the Martinez CCRMC campus.

The partnership increases the availability of local produce and healthy prepared foods in the community. Our goal is to improve community health and the economy of local farmers. This union will be guided through education and by providing access to fresh produce that is carefully grown by California Farmers.

Our policy is to really make every effort to protect our markets and make them a "Political Free Zone". Some folks have the decency to ask for our permission to set up near the markets, others don't! We apologize if you have been approached! The question we ask is: Would the major super market chains allow you to approach their customers in their stores?
